If you look carefully at the following table and compare it with the one for Algebraic Notation, you will notice that only the highlighted terms differ - the rest are the same!

These symbols are placed after a move to comment on its quality

! signifies a good move
!! signifies an outstanding move
? signifies a bad move
?? signifies a blunder
!? signifies an interesting move
?! signifies a dubious move.

The similarity of the two makes things much easier for us.

Let's look again at the opening we used to illustrate Algebraic Form, but this time we will record the moves in Descriptive Form.
